Week over week movement starts with the next published week. Earlier weeks measured fewer AI platforms, so they are not compared with this one.

Named against cited

Named is different from cited.

AI can recommend a company without linking to its site, and can lean on a company's pages without naming it. The shaded corners are where the two come apart.

Frequently asked

Questions about HRIS software.

What is the best HRIS software according to AI?
BambooHR is the company AI names most often, in 79.0% of answers in the week of Oct 19, 2026. Rippling is level with it, because the ranges overlap. "Best" here means most often recommended by AI, which is what a buyer asking an AI assistant sees.
What are the alternatives to BambooHR?
AI names Rippling, HiBob, ADP and Gusto most often after BambooHR for HRIS software.
How is this ranking made?
Every day we put the same 12 buyer questions to ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews and record which companies each answer names. Each week the answers naming a company are divided by all the answers that came back. Companies are taken from the answers themselves, never from a list we chose.
How often is it updated?
Every week. Scans run daily, and each Monday the previous Monday to Sunday is published as one score. This board covers Oct 19, 2026 to Oct 25, 2026.
Why does each rate have a range?
A week holds about 167 answers, which is too few to fix a rate to one decimal. The 95% range shows where the true rate likely sits, and two companies whose ranges overlap are level.
How can a company get recommended by AI for HRIS software?
Start by finding which buyer questions name you and which name a competitor. The free AEO audit runs those questions against your domain and shows the sources AI cites instead of you.
